Sometimes when you make music for a living you lose track of why you did it in the first place. That’s why I sometimes write songs entirely for me. It’s freeing to make art that isn’t tied to making a living in anyway. You get to open up the floodgates and let it loose. If you are a creative for a living I highly recommend this. You don’t have to commit to the grind 24/7. I will most likely never get to perform these songs live and I highly doubt that I Spotify will pay me anything for them. These are just chill bops for me and those people who vibe closest with me. I’m so grateful for those people by the way!
